The Sheikh Zayed Institute Student Innovator Program 2015

The Sheikh Zayed Institute Student Innovator Summer Program offers hands-on research experiences, real-world clinical observations and innovation management workshops to graduate, medical, undergraduate and advanced high school students. Students are paired with mentors and have the opportunity to work alongside physicians, biomedical engineers and other medical professionals during the intensive eight-week program.   • Student Innovators listen to a presentation by Sheikh Zayed Institute Principal Investigator, Dr. Marius Linguraru. Workshops on innovation and new technologies are an important part of the Student Innovator Program, in addition to hands-on research and real-world clinical observations.

  • The Sheikh Zayed Institute Student Innovator class of 2015 included students from the Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research, Higher Colleges of Technology, Harvard, Princeton, and other colleges around the world. Students are paired with mentors and have the opportunity to work alongside physicians, biomedical engineers, and other medical professionals during the intensive eight-week program.
  • Students from the Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research and the Higher Colleges of Technology in the United Arab Emirates successfully completed the Sheikh Zayed Institute Student Innovator Program in 2015.
