Coronavirus Update:What patients and families need to know
We are pleased to announce that Aisha N. Barber, M.D., M.Ed., has been recruited back to Children’s National to succeed Dewesh Agrawal, M.D., as our Pediatric Residency Program Director. Dr. Agrawal will remain as our Vice-Chair for Education and Designated Institutional Official.
Our program provides residents with extensive training in pediatric subspecialty care, as well as providing a superb foundation in general pediatrics. Furthermore, Children’s National has many distinctive features which contribute to our reputation as one of the leaders in caring for children and training in pediatrics.
The pediatric residency program is outstanding and provides residents with opportunities to grow as clinicians, educators, investigators and child and family advocates.
We are so excited for your interest in Children’s National! As the current chief residents, we want to share with you why we love working here. We feel strongly that here at Children’s National, your pediatric training is unmatched due to the diversity and volume of patients you care for, the amazing faculty and fellow mentorship we receive and the life-long relationships you build with your co-residents.
Meet the Pediatric Residency Program leadership team.
