Junior Council

Junior Council Main Image

The Junior Council is composed of young professionals, emerging community leaders, and children’s health advocates who are dedicated to supporting Children’s National Health System through fundraising events and volunteering activities. United by a common mission and passion, the Junior Council raises funds to help the doctors and nurses provide the most sophisticated, personalized, and compassionate care possible to every patient who walks through the door, whether they have insurance or not.

Our Mission

The Junior Council’s mission is to raise awareness about Children’s National Health System amongst a targeted age group of residents of the greater Washington, DC Metro area, so that they will become life-long philanthropists in support of Children’s National.  The Junior Council cultivates the next generation of ambassadors by engaging members and future supporters through educational events; volunteering activities at Children’s National Health System; networking opportunities; and fundraising events.
