This Dancing After Dark event and Children’s Ball 2020 are canceled.
We initially hoped to postpone our annual Dancing After Dark event due to the spread of COVID-19. However, we must now cancel this year’s event given the developments of the past several weeks.
We look forward to sharing a belated celebration of the hospital’s 150th birthday at Dancing After Dark 2021. Our team is working to secure a new date, and we will notify you as soon as we have an update.
Children’s National currently leads regional efforts to expand pediatric testing, care for children exposed to the coronavirus and ensure that providers have the support and resources they need. We continue to deliver care to patients through telemedicine, with 1,000 providers connecting to families in their homes. Your support — yesterday, today and in the future — ensures we can carry out this urgent work.
If you purchased a ticket: By donating the cost of your ticket to Children’s National, you will provide critical funding to the hospital during this time of unprecedented strain on our healthcare system. Your gift will be 100 percent tax deductible. As a thank you, you will receive a special promotional code for 25 percent off the purchase of your ticket when we announce the 2021 event.
Thank you for your understanding and all that you do for our patients and families. We remain deeply grateful for your support.
If you have questions about the event or your ticket purchase, please contact Charlotte Cohen at ccohen@childrensnational.org.
