Brighten the Holidays for Kids in the Hospital

Wednesday, December 14, 2022

Many kids spend their holidays at Children’s National Hospital. We try to make the stay as special as possible for those who can’t go home to celebrate — with festive lights, visits from favorite superheroes, surprise gifts and other winter treats.

We know our patients ultimately want a Reason to Believe they’ll be home soon with their families. To help make this possible, RE/MAX will match all gifts to Children’s National this holiday season, up to a total of $100,000.

Every gift will have double the impact to help bring comfort and hope to kids like:

Sage

Six-year-old Sage loves holiday lights, baking cookies and writing notes to Santa. He visits Children’s National for primary care. “His pediatrician really feels like a part of our family,” says mom Nicole. “The care, concern and competence has been unmatched.”

Nathan

Nathan has a prosthetic leg. Thanks to the care he received at Children’s National, Nathan lives life to the fullest. He enjoys playing baseball, camping and fishing. He can’t wait to participate in the Ocean City Christmas parade this year.

Victoria

Victoria was born three months early. As a toddler she was diagnosed with a mild form of cerebral palsy. Victoria has undergone four orthopedic procedures and physical therapy. She loves chai tea, mini marshmallows and celebrating the holidays with her family.

Thank you for making the holidays brighter for kids like Sage, Nathan and Victoria. For kids courageously battling illness and injury this holiday season, your gift gives them a Reason to Believe.
