This Giving Tuesday, please support patients
who are hospitalized during the holiday season. Your gift supports exceptional care and discoveries that offer hope, healing and better futures.
It’s never easy to be in the hospital when you are a child. But being sick during a time that is supposed to be fun is even more difficult…Our patients may miss out on enjoying holiday traditions at home with their families. Grandma’s special pie will have to wait till next year.
Our patients may miss out on time spent with friends and classmates participating in fun holiday activities like school performances, neighborhood parties or ice-skating trips.
Our patients may be wondering if Santa will find Children’s National? How will I celebrate the Festival of Lights in the hospital? Can my mom or dad still bring presents?
Children’s National staff bring holiday joy to the hospital in special ways like decorating nursing stations, wearing holiday accessories and singing holiday songs while drawing blood. It’s not always easy.
Help give our patients and their families need a reason to believe this holiday season. Please make your Children’s National donation today.
Or, start a personal fundraiser.
It’s easy to personalize your page, connect to social and invite others to join you in supporting Children’s National this year on #GivingTuesday.
Donations of all sizes will help sick kids heal this holiday season…maybe even in enough time to spend the holidays at home with family. Your gift will make a difference in the life of a child in our hospital. It is a gift that keeps on giving and a reason to believe.
