SPECIAL WEBINAR: 150 Years of Children's National

This year, Children’s National celebrates 150 years of pediatric care, research and commitment to community. We grew from humble beginnings. Our hospital opened with 12 beds in the heart of our city to care for orphans in the aftermath of the Civil War. Today, 150 years stronger, we improve health outcomes for children in our community and around the globe.

Children's National President and CEO Kurt Newman, MD, and award-winning journalist Barbara Harrison discuss the hospital’s history as a pillar of community health in the nation's capital and how we will transform pediatric medicine for the next 150 years.

Generous community support enabled us to grow into the nationally ranked pediatric institution we are today. Your gift this holiday season will give our patients a Reason to Believe and help us transform pediatric medicine for the next 150 years.
