6th Annual Ben's Run Raises $90,000 for Cancer Research

Despite the rain on April 23, more than 1,000 participants arrived in sunny spirits for the sixth annual Ben's Run. Runners, walkers, and furry friends enjoyed the spring day and helped raise $90,000 for pediatric cancer research.

The founders of Ben’s Run, Clare and Tom Goldfogle, started the event after their son, Ben, lost his battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, following a bone marrow transplant. All funds raised from the event will support critical research focused on the early detection of cancer after a child has gone into remission.

Since its inception, Ben’s Run has raised more than $420,000 for research that is helping to create new therapies and tools to overcome the gravest prognoses in childhood cancer. View photos of the event.
