Cyber Security Industry Unites for Children

On Oct. 24, nearly 300 leaders from DC’s cyber security, business, and philanthropic communities came together to celebrate the inaugural White Hat Gala, hosted at the Ronald Reagan Building. This casino-themed evening of networking, dining, and entertainment was highlighted with appearances by Congressmen Mike Rogers and Dutch Ruppersberger, and Bank of America executive Jeff Wood presented the first Volunteer Excellence Award to longtime Children’s National patient care volunteer Jonathan Bell. The event raised nearly $330,000 for Children’s National, thanks to the leadership of foundation board chair Andrew Blair, event chair Paul Innella, White Hat USA co-founder David Trout, and other leaders.
