A Zoo Adventure for Donors

On Sept. 29, 2013, Children’s National’s Children’s Circle of Care members and their families had a "zoo adventure" at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo. The event, which celebrated and thanked Children’s Circle of Care members for their commitment, included face-painting, a moonbounce, and, of course, animals of all types. View photos. Children’s Circle of Care is an annual leadership gift program for the leading benefactors of 25 prominent children’s hospitals in North America. Individuals, couples, or family foundations who contribute $10,000 or more in a calendar year to any of the participating hospitals become members of the Children’s Circle of Care.
