Meg Menzel is a genetic counselor with 17 years of prenatal genetic counselor experience. She hold certifications from the American Board of Medical Genetics and the American Board of Genetic Counseling. Ms. Menzel’s educational background is in psychology and medical genetics. Her research interests include medical ethics, prenatal diagnosis of disorders of sexual development, and maternal stress following an abnormal prenatal diagnosis.
Ms. Menzel serves as the clinical program director for Fetal Genetic Counseling and the rotation director for clinical genetics fellows and genetic counseling students. She is also a member of the Children’s National Ethics Committee.
