ADHD, also called attention-deficit disorder, is a behavior disorder, usually first diagnosed in childhood. It is characterized by inattention, impulsivity, and, in some cases, hyperactivity.
The Children’s National Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (CASD) provides evaluation and treatment services for children with atypical or complicated developmental disorders.
The Concussion Program at Children’s National Hospital evaluates, monitors and manages the care of children and adolescents with concussions (known as mild traumatic brain injury).
