Angela Boadu is the lead outpatient pediatric dietitian at Children's National. Angela has helped patients and families tackle the complexities of childhood obesity and related complications including diabetes, fatty liver disease and heart disease. She primarily treats patients in the multidisciplinary Improving Diet, Energy and Activity of Life (I.D.E.A.L.) Weight Management Clinic and works with the surgical team at Children's National to address the eating patterns of bariatric patients throughout their health journey. Angela also works in the hospital’s general nutrition clinic addressing concerns of malnutrition, food allergies, poor weight gain, selective eating, lipid metabolism and general nutrition inquiries.
She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and its Weight Management Dietetic Practice Group.
