It's Flu Season! Here's what you need to know before you come to Children's National. 

Shuttle Service: All shuttles (except Brookland) pick up and drop off passengers at the East Wing Emergency Department entrance. The Brookland Metro shuttle bus route picks up and drops off at the ramps and canopies at the end of the East Wing hallway near the Emergency Department.

Visiting Guidelines & Hours

Parents, guardians, and family friends are encouraged to visit children who are staying in the hospital. Children’s National has guidelines for visitors that help us maintain a safe and calm environment for high-quality care.

Transportation & Parking

Children's National Health System's main campus is easily accessible if you are driving or taking public transportation, and has onsite parking for families.

Emergency Department

Children’s National has two Emergency Departments to meet the needs of our patients. For your convenience, Children’s National offers real-time information on the wait times at our Emergency Departments.
