Biography

Shamir Tuchman, MD, is a pediatric nephrologist with a special interest in pediatric kidney stone disease as well as calcium, phosphorus, and vitamin D metabolism. He has both clinical and research expertise in determinants of stone risk in children, bone mineral metabolism alterations in hypercalciuria, and vitamin D status in kidney transplant patients.
