Biography

Kristen Johnson, M.D., lives in Fairfax, Va., with her husband and two children. She received a B.A. in political science and philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Afterwards, she completed medical school and residency at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Md., where she also served as Chief Pediatric Resident.

Dr. Johnson is board certified in pediatric medicine and a fellow in the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). She speaks English and Spanish. Dr. Johnson’s clinical interests encompass all aspects of pediatric care from the newborn period to adolescence, and she has a special interest in asthma, allergic disease and nutrition.
