Kathleen Atmore, PsyD Developmental Neuropsychologist, Autism Specialist



Kathleen Atmore, PsyD has over 30 years of experience working with children and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She received her undergraduate and graduate education in Minnesota and completed her internship and fellowship training at Boston Children's Hospital  Harvard Medical School. She was on staff and held a faculty appointment there prior to moving to Washington, DC. She joined Children's National Health System, Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders in 2004. 

Atmore has a special interest in meeting the needs of underserved populations affected by autism and she specializes in assisting patients with autism and their care providers in the medical setting. 

Atmore received the 2014 Patient and Family Centered care award for her work.
