Biography

June K. Amling, MSN, RN, CNS, CWON, CCRN, is an advanced practice nurse in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Children's National with a focus on wound and skin health. She has been at Children's since 1989, with 35 years spent in the nursing field in total. June is credentialed as a medical provider and has a background in intensive care nursing. Her specialties include pressure injuries, wound dehiscence and skin injuries. 

She currently works in inpatient and outpatient areas of the Sheikh Zayed Campus for Advanced Children's Medicine — outpatient clinic on Thursdays from 8 a.m. to noon
