Biography
Hemant Sharma, MD, MHS, is the Chief of the Division of Allergy and Immunology at Children’s National Health System in Washington, DC. He is Director of the Food Allergy Program at Children’s National, as well as Site Director for the National Institutes of Health Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Program. Dr. Sharma is a regular contributor to a food allergy column in Allergic Living magazine and recently co-edited the “Food Allergy in Children” series for Pediatric Clinics of North America. His main areas of research interest include school-based management of food allergy, as well as adherence among adolescents with food allergy.
