I know exactly how you are feeling! Our baby boy was very sick and no one could figure out what was wrong. We were transferred from a hospital in Northern Virginia to Children's National and had the good luck of meeting David Powell, MD, who saved our son Jack's life. He quickly diagnosed him with tests that had already been done (as opposed to even more radiation) and set a plan for a series of esophageal dilations followed by an esophageal resection. I cannot thank Children's and Dr. Powell enough, our son is now a thriving 5-year-old boy!
