Coronavirus Update:What patients and families need to know
DC Pediatric Injury Prevention Alliance
Working to Protect Children from Accidents and Injuries
Through public policy and advocacy, the Injury Prevention Alliance works to prevent intentional and unintentional childhood injuries, including harm from bullying, cyber-bullying, and dating violence.
The alliance’s stakeholders represent various community-based organizations, all collaborating to support the alliance’s mission and scope with a focus on key areas of injury prevention.
The Injury Prevention Alliance also coordinates with the Safe Kids DC Coalition, part of the hospital’s Trauma and Burn department, to ensure Children’s National’s injury prevention efforts are both cohesive and comprehensive.
