Top 10 Things to do for Earth Day and Spring Break (for the pediatrically inclined)
Saturday, April 23, 2011
Earth day shouldn't be one day but rather a representation of all days. So even if you missed it, and with all your extra spring break time, you could still:
- Go for a walk with a child
- Run after a toddler
- Borrow a library book
- Make sure it’s “The Lorax”
- Donate some gently used toys for re-use
- Use your helmets
- Quit or help someone quit smoking
- Turn off some lights/screens
- Plant something
- Eat something you’ve planted
Then repeat (reduce, re-use, recycle)...
Any other ideas?
