At Children’s National, we understand that families have many questions about their child’s condition and care. Your care providers may offer specific resources, but we also have online resources available to answer your questions and connect you with the information you need.

Child Life

Child Life Services

Our Child Life Specialists are specially trained and certified to help children, adolescents, and families understand and cope with illness, treatment, and hospitalization.

Places to Stay

We have a team of staff members ready to help you make arrangements for your stay nearby while your child receives care. From hotels to corporate apartments, there are a variety of accommodations available for your family.

Social Work

Pastoral Care

Board-certified chaplains provide important spiritual and mental health services to all families and patients in the hospital. Children's National also has two chapels for patients, families, and staff seeking a quiet space for prayer or meditation.
