The Division of Epilepsy, Neurophysiology and Critical Care Neurology at Children's National Health System has a variety of programs and services to help care for and treat your child's needs. Your child will have access to the latest advances in treatment based on our cutting-edge research and our commitment to providing age-appropriate, personalized care for your child.
- Comprehensive Pediatric Epilepsy Program: The National Association of Epilepsy Centers recognizes Children’s National Health System as a Level 4 epilepsy center. We offer a complete range of individualized treatments, including minimally invasive surgery and dietary therapies to eliminate seizures that can potentially injure a child’s brain.
- Neonatal Neurology and Neonatal Neurocritical Care Program: The Neonatal Neurology and Neurocritical Care Program at Children’s National is the only one of its kind in the mid-Atlantic region and a leader in advancing neurologic care to some of the most critically ill newborns.
- Neuromuscular Program: At the Neuromuscular Program, we treat children from infancy to age 21 and we’re dedicated to giving our patients the highest quality of life in and out of a clinical setting.
