Daryl Jacob is a practitioner in the Children's National Division of Anesthesiology, Pain and Perioperative Medicine. Born and raised in Silver Spring, Daryl attended the University of Maryland, College Park where he graduated with a B.S. Neurobiology and Physiology. He first shadowed anesthesiologist Nina Deutsch, M.D. at Children’s National with research at the Sheik Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation, and later interned research at the Johns Hopkins Khoeler Laboratory for cerebrovascular autoregulation following cortical impact.
Daryl attended Case Western Reserve University Medical School and returned to Children's National for specialization in pediatric anesthesia. Outside of the hospital, Daryl enjoys exploring the world, sailing and polo.
