Bio

Biography

Terry Kind, MD, MPH, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She has served as the Director of Pediatrics Medical Student Education since 2008. In GW medical school’s revised curriculum she also serves as a professional development mentor and co-directs the Behavior and Development theme. She practices primary care pediatrics at Children’s Health Center at Martin Luther King, a community-based health center in Southeast Washington, DC. Dr. Kind was a founding member of the Metropolitan DC Reach Out and Read Coalition and was its former Medical Director. She is board certified in pediatrics, has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) since 2002, and previously served on the Editorial Board of PediaLink. Her professional interests include medical education, reflective practice, lifelong learning, social media. and professionalism.  She blogs at www.PediatricCareer.org.
