Manage Your Care
Children’s National Health System understands it may be challenging to communicate and coordinate with your child’s primary care provider and other specialists involved in their care.
When a child has a serious illness, it affects everyone in the family — and our team cares for them all. We have different teams providing comprehensive psychosocial and mental health services for our young patients as well as other services for their parents and siblings.
At our main campus, regional outpatient centers and other facilities, we treat the whole child, paying attention to both his or her physical and emotional needs.
Whether your child is seeing a Children’s National Health System specialist or one of our primary care doctors, you can manage your child’s health information and more through our online patient portals. Parents can choose to manage either their child’s specialty or primary care.
The Health Information Management (HIM) department is committed to providing the highest quality of service to our patients, physicians, and other healthcare information users by maintaining the accurate, dependable, and secure collection of records as well as the appropriate dissemination of health information.
We design our health care with kids in mind, and deliver assurance when parents need it most.
