Each year, the EMSC NRC works with the federal EMSC Program to coordinate a number of webcasts of interest to EMSC grantees, partners, and stakeholders. All webcasts are archived for viewing at a later date.

Upcoming Webcasts

  • Everyday Pediatric Readiness for Extraordinary Events, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, April 22, 2014. This webcast will highlight best practices and lessons learned from the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) where the threat of a tsunami or typhoon is an everyday reality and where routine and extraordinary often intersect. The CNMI EMSC program will discuss successes and challenges in pediatric disaster preparedness and response, including: the EMS systems and resources; interagency collaboration; and community planning, practice, response, and recovery.

This live internet program highlighted three EMSC Targeted Issues projects focused on pediatric trauma performance improvement from the prehospital to the hospital setting, and the critical importance of integrating patient and family centered care into these settings.
