Pediatric Emergency Ultrasound

Over the past two decades, general emergency physicians have become increasingly proficient with bedside ultrasonography and have developed new uses for emergency ultrasound, mainly in adult patients.

Physician Observerships

Observers is a term applied to physicians who have completed medical school but are not licensed to practice in the District of Columbia nor a trainee in any US or Canadian approved residency program. Such individuals usually are graduates of foreign medical schools who desire exposure to hospital practice in the United States.

We offer opportunities for nurses to enhance professional development in nursing practice, education, administration, and research aimed at improving patient care outcomes and patient safety.
