Whether your child is seeing a Children’s National Health System specialist or one of our primary care doctors, you can manage your child’s health information and more through our online patient portals. Parents can choose to manage either their child’s specialty or primary care.
Specialty Care Patients
When your child is seeing a Children's National physician for any specialty care, his/her information can be managed in the specialty care patient portal, MyChildrensNationalPortal.
Login to Patient Portal
Please email any questions to MyCNPatientPortal@childrensnational.org.
What is available in the Patient Portal:
*Starting fall 2016, MyChildrensNationalPortal will launch three new tools as part of a pilot project. The tools include secure messaging, medication renewal, and self-enrollment. These tools are only available to select Children’s National providers at this time; we will communicate when additional caregivers are accessible. Thank you for your patience as we continue enhancing MyChildrensNationalPortal.
View, Download, Transmit Health Information
Your child’s health information is at your fingertips. Within the patient portal, you can view, download, and even transmit your child’s health records.
Review Visit Summaries
We know that a visit with your child’s provider can sometimes be a blur, which is why you can now access clinical summaries, which may include information on procedures performed during the visit, current medication list, and more.
Read Patient Specific Education Materials
With the Patient Portal, you also have access to all of your child’s patient specific education materials, all in one place.
Depending on the specialty, you may need to download, fill out, and bring one of the following intake forms with you to your child's appointment.
Request for Legal Name Changes:
Changes to patient names within the medical record and hospital systems should be made through the HIM department.
Primary Care Patients
You can manage your child’s primary care through two different patient portals; one for Children’s Health Centers and one for Children’s Pediatricians and Associates. Visit primary care’s Manage Your Care to request refills, view appointments and health records, or update your child’s information.
