Research Interests
Holly Jane Meany, MD, is a pediatric oncologist at Children's National.
She is a member of the Solid Tumor Program.
Dr. Meany's clinical research is focused on phase I clinical trials and
pharmacology in the development of new agents for treating pediatric
cancers. Through her projects Dr. Meany has learned techniques
essential in developing new therapeutic agents; preclinical analysis,
assay development and validation, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic
analysis, data modeling as well as clinical trial design and execution.
Dr. Meany has received grant funding twice through the American Society
of Clinical Oncology to support her research conducted jointly at
Children’s National Medical Center and the Pediatric Oncology Branch of
the National Cancer Institute.
