Research Interests
Shana S. Jacobs, MD, came to Children's National Medical Center from the National Cancer Institute where she was a pediatric oncology research fellow. Dr. Jacobs' work is primarily focused on fatigue and sleep disturbances troubling adolescent cancer populations with few documented interventions. Her study aims to explore the impact of a massage therapy intervention on sleep, fatigue and mood of hospitalized adolescent cancer patients.
