Research Interests
Jichuan Wang, PhD, a demographer and sociologist, is a principle investigator at the Children's National Medical Center and a professor at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at George Washington University. His expertise lies in biostatistics and behavioral studies. Dr. Wang has been working in the field of public health studies for almost two decades. He has been a principal investigator and co-investigator on numerous research studies funded by National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIDA), which have covered subjects including HIV risk behaviors, intervention evaluation, health service utilization, reducing barriers to drug treatment, and the development of quantitative methodology and computer programs for public health studies. He is widely published on statistical/sampling methodologies and public health studies.
