Research Interests
Denice Cora-Bramble, MD, MBA is the Senior Vice President of the Diana L. and Stephen A. Goldberg Center for Community Pediatric Health at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. The Goldberg Center is one of the six clinical Centers of Excellence at Children’s National and includes the Divisions of General Pediatrics, Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine, Pediatric Dentistry, the Child and Adolescent Protection Center, the Mobile Health Program, seven health centers and multiple community and hospital-based programs. Dr. Cora-Bramble provides leadership to a multi-site staff of over 200, including more than 38 medical and dental faculty members. She is a professor of Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and the recipient of multiple awards including the 2009 Distinguished Alumna Award from John Hopkins University, the 2009 Health Care Delivery Award from the Academic Pediatric Association, and the 2007 Academic Pediatric Association/American Academy of Pediatrics’ National Pediatric Community Teaching Award, the highest honor in community pediatrics education. Dr. Cora-Bramble is the Children’s National principal investigator of the NIH-funded DC-Baltimore Research Center on Child Health Disparities. Her areas of interest and expertise are pediatric health disparities, minority faculty development, cultural competence and academic leadership development.
