Research Interests
Terry Kind, MD, MPH is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Children’s National Medical Center and The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She has served as the Director of Pediatrics Medical Student Education since 2008. She practices general pediatrics at Children’s Health Center at Martin Luther King, a community-based health center in Southeast Washington, DC. Dr Kind was a founding member of the Metropolitan DC Reach Out and Read Coalition and previously served as its Medical Director. She is board certified in pediatrics, has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) since 2002, and has served on the Editorial Board of PediaLink, the AAP’s online home for continuous professional growth, since 2003. Some of her professional interests include medical education, reflective practice, lifelong learning, e-learning, and health literacy.
