Research Interests
Avital Cnaan, PhD, is professor of Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and Director, Multi-Center Studies Section in the Center for Clinical and Community Medicine. D.C. Dr. Cnaan received her PhD in statistics from Carnegie-Mellon University. She has been involved in clinical research and multi-center clinical trials for more than 20 years. Dr. Cnaan is a fellow of the American Statistical Association. Her research interests are in the design of clinical research studies in pediatrics, survival and longitudinal data analyses and statistical analysis methods for small sample studies. Her primary focus within pediatrics is in neurological and neuromuscular diseases as well as in neonatology.
