Multi-Center Research Studies

Multi-center research studies or clinical trials are conducted at more than one medical center or clinic. Researchers are able to reach a larger population and are able to collaborate together to compare outcomes. 

    Research lab - test tubes
  • Cooperative International Neuromuscular Group (CINRG) 
    CINRG works to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy by seamlessly integrating basic and preclinical science into multi-center human clinical trials.

  • Leukodystrophy
    This study seeks to identify genetic causes of currently undiagnosed leukodystrophies. Participants will be tested for known genes as well as be used to identify new genes that may cause leukodystrophies.

  • Pediatric Seizure Study 
    Children's National Medical Center partners with 13 children’s hospitals and universities across the country to conduct a study to learn which of two commonly prescribed seizure medicines is best for treating seizures in children in the emergency
    room (ER).
