Faculty and Associates Training and Services
The Office of Academic Services (OAS) strives to provide faculty and associates with assistance and training in areas relative to academic success. The OAS web portal, Academic Services Assistance Program (ASAP) allows users to review services, register for seminars and trainings, and get a list of upcoming CRI events. To acces this information, and much more, you must register as a user.

Our program aims to recruit, retain, and ensure the academic success and advancement of faculty and to promote recognition of our faculty’s accomplishments locally, nationally and internationally. We provide the following services:

- Annual faculty reviews in conjunction with chief academic officer, division chief, and vice chair of education and academic affairs
- Faculty and division chief counseling
- Supervision of Appointment, Promotion and Tenure process
- Individual and committee review
- Tenure review process implementation
- Sabbatical policy and leaves of absence approval
- Evaluation for periodic improvement of the evaluative process for academic goals and objectives
- Inquiries about Children's National Medical Center and the George Washington University School of Medicine faculty policies.
