Outbound MTAs

Children’s National is providing materials to an external recipient.

For outbound MTAs, the faculty or staff member providing the materials will submit a completed copy of the Children’s National Material Transfer Agreement to the Office of Innovation Development along with the appropriate contact information for the external recipient.

OID will forward an unsigned copy of the MTA to the recipient for review, approval, and execution. Upon receipt of the partially executed agreement, OID will obtain final internal signatures and forward to the Recipient, legal, faculty/staff member providing the materials, and all other relevant parties.

If the recipient requests that changes be made to the standard Children’s National Material Transfer Agreement, these changes must be reviewed and approved and/or negotiated by legal counsel for Children’s Research Institute. Upon a final agreement, the recipient will obtain signatures and forward to OID for final execution by Children’s National. Upon receipt of the partially executed agreement, the Office of Innovation Development will obtain final internal signatures and forward to the recipient, legal, faculty/staff member providing the materials, and all other relevant parties.
