Preparing for Your Visit

At Children’s National Health System, families can expect a medical home to help coordinate their care. We help families easily access the treatment their children need by delivering high-quality, fully coordinated pediatric care directly in the community.

We have a comprehensive network of primary care providers who are affiliated with Children’s National either as staff at `Children’s Health Centers or as affiliated practices known as Children’s Pediatricians & Associates.

Children’s Health Centers are pediatric primary care health centers staffed by Children’s National pediatricians located throughout the District of Columbia. Care is offered at seven convenient locations with extended weekday and Saturday hours. All l locations are National Committee for Quality Assurance certified medical homes, where  families can expect enhanced care thanks to our physician-lead team based approach.

CP&A has more than 40 providers in several locations, providing patient care children in Montgomery, Prince George's, and Charles counties in Maryland and Washington, DC.
