Children's National Bullying Expert Participates in Federal Summit on Prevention August 11, 2010
Washington, DC – Joseph L. Wright, MD, MPH, senior vice president of the Child Health Advocacy Institute, was featured on a practitioner panel at the Federal Partners to Prevent Bullying Summit on August 11, 2010. In his remarks, Dr. Wright discussed the AAP's statement he co-authored on the prevention of bullying and Children's National's efforts to prevent and treat children who are involved in bullying.
Children's National Medical Center is actively engaged in bullying prevention. Jorge C. Srabstein, MD, is a psychiatrist who advocates for a community approach to bullying prevention. His federal and state testimony has been influential in the drafting of legislation mandating school bullying policies.
