4 Main

Inpatient Nursing Director
Dede Colevas, MSN, RN, CPN

4 main is a 14 bed unit that specializes in the care of medically acute patients ranging from newborns to young adults. Patients on 4 main typically have one of the following diagnosis: asthma, pneumonia, bronchiolitis, RSV, croup, fever and r/o sepsis, lymphadenitis, Kawasaki’s disease, cellulitis/abcess, and urinary tract infections.

The physicians caring for the 4 main patients are the,” Pediatric Hospitalist Attending Service Team” or PHAST.  The nursing and physician team pride themselves on working collaboratively and closely with an emphasis on a family centered care philosophy to guide their care and interactions with families. The nursing staff exhibit a passion for teaching their patients and families and most are certified pediatric nurses.
