Debbie Freiburg is the Director for Medical Nursing and Patient and Family Education Program. She has been at Children's since 1978, joining the team as a staff nurse on the Hematology and Oncology unit.
Dr. Greenberg is a well-known specialist in Hematology and Oncology at Children's National.
Located within Children's National Health System, the Regional Outpatient Centers' administrative offices support outreach to the community and facilitates hospital department participation in the program. The Regional Outpatient Centers offer Children's specialists in a neighborhood setting around the region.
The Pediatric Hematology Oncology training program is an ACGME accredited, three year training program for physicians that have completed three years of general pediatric training at an ACGME accredited institution.
