Update from Children's National:
Children's National has received 56 patients related to today's incident. We are triaging them and will work to reunite patients with their families.
The hospital has not sustained any damage and all patients and staff are safe.
If parents think their children may have been transported to Children's National, please call 202-476-3000.
For families of current inpatients:
We recommend that you not come downtown, as there is damage throughout the city. However, parents will be allowed to visit their children if they do come.
If you have an outpatient visit:
The outpatient clinics and health centers at the main campus (111 Michigan Ave NW) are currently closed. Our outpatient centers, located throughout the region, are currently open and operational.
