Neonatal Nutrition Traineeship

Children's National Neonatal Nutrition Traineeship provides a unique teaching opportunity for registered dietitians nationwide. Neonatal nutrition support practice requires a high level of education and specialized training that is not readily available in current teaching programs.

Child Life Services Practicum Program

Children's National offers a Child Life Practicum Program to individuals who are interested in becoming a certified child life specialist with academic training in the fields of child life, child development, early childhood education, psychology, and other related disciplines.

Child Life Services Shadow Program

Children’s National offers a Child Life Services Shadow Program for individuals 18 years and older that are interested in learning more about the field of child life.

ECMO and the Advanced Therapies for Respiratory Failure Meeting

This conference will address the educational needs of pediatric healthcare providers involved in care of the neonatal or pediatric patient in respiratory and/or cardiovascular failure. State-of-the-art presentations on the use and latest technologies related to Neonatal, Pediatric, and Adult ECMO, nitric oxide, and state-of-the-art ventilation techniques will be presented.

Minority Senior Scholarship Program

The goal of the program at Children's National is to expose medical students to academic pediatrics and the many educational opportunities our institution has to offer through a one-month rotation with a variety of experiences.
