Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)

Children who have difficulty with social skills, language and behavior are said to have an autism spectrum disorder (formerly known as a pervasive developmental disorder (PDD)).

Down Syndrome

Down syndrome is a genetic disorder that includes a combination of birth defects, including characteristic facial features and, often, heart defects, and visual and hearing impairment.

Hearing Loss

Hearing loss can be categorized by many different types. Two types of hearing loss are sensorineural and conductive. Both types of hearing loss can be congenital (present at birth) or acquired.
