Main Hospital

Located on Michigan Avenue in the heart of Washington, DC, our 313-bed facility houses physicians practicing over 42 pediatric subspecialties. Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC)

Children’s National staffs the well-baby nursery and Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, offering 24-hour coverage, consultations, assessments, and care to premature and critically ill newborn babies as well as direct access to pediatric subspecialty services at the Children’s National main downtown location. Children's also provides hospital medicine and cardiology care as well as telemedicine services for several specialties for patients at the Salisbury, MD, facility.

Mary Washington Hospital

Mary Washington's well-baby nursery and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) houses highly trained Children’s National neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners providing 24-hour coverage, consultations, assessments, and care to premature and critically ill newborn babies as well as direct access to pediatric subspecialty services at the Children’s National downtown location. The pediatric unit at Mary Washington Hospital also is staffed by experts in hospital medicine from Children’s National, extending our expert pediatric care farther into the Fredericksburg, VA, metropolitan area.

Virginia Hospital Center (VHC)

Children’s National provides comprehensive outpatient cardiology services to Northern Virginia through our office in Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. Additionally, Children’s neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners staff the well-baby nursery and Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), providing 24-hour coverage, consultations, assessments, and care to premature and critically ill newborn babies as well as direct access to pediatric subspecialty services at the Children’s National downtown location.

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center (SNVMC)

Children’s neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners staff the well-baby nursery and Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA, providing 24-hour coverage, consultations, assessments, and care to premature and critically ill newborn babies as well as direct access to pediatric subspecialty services at the Children’s National downtown location.
