Resources for Families
At Children’s National, we understand that families have many questions about their child’s condition and care. Your care providers may offer specific resources, but we also have online resources available to answer your questions and connect you with the information you need.
Our oncology (cancer) team provides personalized treatment plans for children with cancer, including access to clinical trials.
Children's National established supportive care initiatives to improve the comfort and quality of life for families of children undergoing treatment for cancer, bone marrow transplant patients, as well as children with complex medical conditions requiring hospital stays and long-term care.
Children's National Health System's Concierge Services team aims to help families feel more at home during their visit or stay, whether it's assisting with hotel accommodations or simply providing toiletries to families.
Our social workers are specially trained and licensed professionals who provide an array of psychosocial services to enhance the quality of care our patients and families receive, both within Children's National and in the community.
