This program takes a multifaceted approach to the treatment of children and adolescents who struggle with food intake, either due to feeding related problems or disorders of eating and body image. Following a thorough initial evaluation, treatment focuses on the use of evidence based treatments, including medication management (if applicable) and therapy, with routine follow-up appointments and referrals to other members of our multidisciplinary team, as needed.
Dr. Begtrup is board certified in adult and child/adolescent psychiatry and currently treats patients from infancy through 18 years of age.
