Marijean Miller, MD, is an expert in all aspects of pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus who has cared for children at Children’s National Health System for more than 15 years. Dr. Miller also sees adults with strabismus. She is a recognized clinician, surgeon, and teacher. She has also been named in Washingtonian Magazine's "Guide to Best Area Ophthalmologists" three times.
She is board-certified in ophthalmology, a member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the Academy of Ophthalmology, and is an elected committee member at the Food and Drug Administration. Dr. Miller's publications are numerous on topics in pediatric eye care including amblyopia, strabismus, retinopathy of prematurity, visual disabilities in children and rare disease case reports, as well as original research using spectral Doppler ultrasound to evaluate the optic nerve.
